Event Recap: #iamgood18 – More Passion!

A big shout out to everyone who attended our recent event – #iamgood18 More Passion. The event took place at Albert Schweitzer Haus on May 28th ’19.

It made us truly happy to meet with our enthusiastic participants who came in with interesting insights, questions and most importantly,  an open mind.

We kicked off the event with a Q & A session run by iamgood’s Michael Herold with Elizabeth Toth of Green Heroes (https://www.greenheroes.at). Elizabeth took us through the origin story of her passion project, Green Heroes and how cleaning up the environment can be a fun, social activity through ‘plogging’. She additionally shared practical, easy-to-apply tips on managing waste better at an individual level.

We then had Dominik Kraihamer, a professional race driver who offered an interesting, alternative view point on passion. He spoke of how passion can carry insecurities, anxiety, fear, failure on the other other side of the coin. His personal story and journey to making it to where he is today was certainly a refreshing take on a topic that often gets lost in cliché.

As always, this event was also a certified Öpokoevent and was successfully plastic-free.

We thank our hosts, Albert Schweitzer Haus, and our partners soulbottles, Sonnentor, Biorama, Inve Vegan, Adamah, Green Grounds and Bäckerei felzl.
