Is it just me or are there more and more prostitutes walking up and down 6th around the shopping areas? There needs to be some kind of early response to this before it gets out of hand. Maybe if business owners and their employees were more aware of this they could keep an eye out and call this sort of thing in. Maybe find the TPD rep for the area and see if he can give the 6th Ave. This sounds familiar. Doesn't the 6th Ave District have a promotional event called "Tart on the Ave?
What prostitutes? I live right off of 6th ave and drive between Alder and Sprauge several times a day. I have never noticed a hooker on 6th Although there are lots of drunk kids outside of Masa and Chopstix at 1am. What area of 6th ave are you referring to and how do you know you are seeing hookers?
I am guessing the Highland Hill area. Lots of cheap apartments around it and it has that Aurora Ave. I wish things were like they used to be". Nothing else comes close in Pierce County. Any hookers you find on Tacoma Ave are simply in transit from jail back to S.

C'mon now, my hood isn't THAT bad. Aurora Ave? That is just low! I have yet to see a hooker over here. But, maybe now, with all of the new sports bars Maybe is just referring to the patrons of that hot new shoe store in the Sixth Ave District.
